Note that the HDMI ARC supports both Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus while Optical In only supports Dolby Digital.
If the incoming audio from these inputs is not Dolby Audio, the LED display will indicate "PCM" instead.
Press the Info button on the remote control to check the current audio format on the soundbar.
Optical Setup
The soundbar uses a TOSKLINK optical connector which can be connected to a TV. Its optical connection supports both PCM and Dolby Digital. Consult your TV manual on how to switch the TV audio output to optical.
Use the Source button on the remote control or the Multifunction button on the soundbar to switch the source input to Optical. Connect the other end of the optical cable into the Optical Out of a TV.
The volume level at the optical source and the playback volume at the soundbar is controlled separately.
Before connecting the optical cable, make sure to remove the plastic caps at both ends.
AUX Setup
The AUX can be connected using a 3.5mm stereo analog audio cable (not included). Ensure that the cable is properly secured.
Use the Source button on the remote control or the Multifunction button on the soundbar to switch the source input to AUX.
Connect the other end of the analog cable into the Headphone Out of a portable audio device or the Line Out of a computer. Initiate playback from the portable audio device or the computer. The source level and the volume control of the soundbar are controlled independently.
Bluetooth Setup
The soundbar supports Classic Bluetooth. Use the soundbar's Multifunction button to toggle/switch to Bluetooth source. Alternatively, single press the Bluetooth button on the remote control to immediately switch to Bluetooth source. These actions attempt to reconnect to the last connected Bluetooth source device. Otherwise, the soundbar enters into pairing mode if reconnection is not successful.
You may also press and hold the Multifunction button on the soundbar for 2 seconds to trigger Bluetooth pairing mode from any audio source.
Upon entering pairing mode, "BT BLUETOOTH" will scroll twice and then followed by a flashing "PAIR" on the LED display. A voice prompt will be heard saying "Now in pairing mode, waiting for connection".
When the Bluetooth is connected, the LED display will be showing a static "BT". A voice prompt will be heard saying "Bluetooth Connected".
Disconnecting the Bluetooth triggers the soundbar into pairing mode and a voice prompt that says "Bluetooth Disconnected".
Switching out the Bluetooth input source will exit the Bluetooth pairing mode. If it’s connected to a device, switching out the Bluetooth input source will pause the Bluetooth audio.
